Payment Forms

We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

When reserving your accommodation we do not require a deposit (*) but will verify that your credit card is valid by doing a pre-authorization.


A deposit will be requested when the following occurs:

Reservation are made for the entire lodge & longhouse for more than 1 day.

A special event is being held at the lodge or nearby.

When the restaurant is reserved for a private party and we will need to close our doors to the general public.

Ex: birthday party, wedding, large group of snowmobilers/ATV’ers


Use local firewood “only” for your campfire. Do not risk infestation of our beautiful landscape. Dry Firewood is also available for sale.

Pet Policy

We love all furry companions but can only accept them in The Longhouse for a small fee. Food Safety Regulations do not permit us to accept animals in The Lodge.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in time: 3pm to 10pm There is no reception outside of these hours (before or after). A $50 fee is applied after 10PM (please call to let us know you are still coming) and there is strickly no check-in’s after 11pm.
Check-out time: 11am

In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

$20 room key replacement charge when not returned.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made by phone by calling us at 613-637-2725. You may cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival. You will be charged the first night if you cancel in the 14 days before arrival.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the properties of Madawaska Lodge including The Longhouse (Cottage). By-Law, there is no smoking permitted on any outside patio. Violations will be subject to penalties of $500.

Madawaska Lodge is a liquor sales license holder establishment. Management is committed to adhere to all liquor laws.

We will not:

  • Permit drunkenness, unruly behaviour, unlawful gambling or narcotics on the premises.
  • Serve an intoxicated patron.
  • Sell alcohol to minors (under age of 19) or allow a minor to consume alcohol
  • Serve alcohol before 11 am or after 2 am
  • Allow consumption of alcohol not purchase from Madawaska Lodge

We reserve the right to ask a guest to leave the property if they do not adhere to the liquor laws and this without warning. No refunds will be provided. Police will be called if needed.

Maximum Occupancy

Each room has a maximum occupancy. For safety reason and for the wellness of all guest we will not permit this number to be exceeded. Each person child or adult counts as 1 guest.

Indoor Footwear

It is standard practice in Canada to remove shoes upon entry to a house. We ask our guests not to wear outdoor shoes upstairs or in the living room area. We have slippers available for guest or bring your own indoor shoes.


Information for overnight guest:

Breakfast is served daily from 8am to 10pm. Dinner is available from 3pm to 7pm (Nov to May) & 7:30pm (June to October). Food not purchased at the lodge is not permitted in the restaurant. Other food choices are available when restaurant is closed (homemade frozen meals, desserts, etc). Please note A 15% gratuity will be added to all food & beverage purchases made at the restaurant. Picnic tables on grassed areas can be used to prepare & enjoy your own food at anytime. We sale paper plates, plastic utensils, etc. if needed.

Restaurant hours may be different from above. Facebook is the most up to date on changes or give us a call.

We are not wheelchair accessible. Access to all bedrooms is by stairs.
